Our Plan

Our Healthy Communties Plan 2006-2009  provides information and details of our work and an overview of the partnership and how we operate.  The plan includes weblinks and background information to support people to build on their knowledge across various health and service delivery sectors.

PCP Reports

• Women Gathering In Dry Times Evaluation August 2008 
  
• PSTT Final PSTT report May 2008 - Partnerships in Safer Sex and Testing was a 10 month project funded by Family Planning Victoria and led by Upper Hume Communtiy Health Service.  Significant need identified for improvement in education and service levels. 
  
• Friends for Life Program Evaluation January 2008 this initiative trained over 40 teachers and welfare workers in our area to deliver the Friends program into schools. The aim to build the mental health and resilience of young people in surviving the tough and stressful time of the drought.

Recent Health Information

• National preventative health strategy discussion paper Australia the Healthiest Country 2020
  The National Preventative Health Taskforce is calling for submissions on its discussion paper and associated technical papers.

• Because Mental Health Matters: A new focus for mental health and wellbeing in Victoria. The Consultation paper outlines the new vision for Victoria’s mental health services and proposes priorities for action and possible solutions to identified needs.
