Across the Years

In the 2006-2009 planning period the membership decided that our Across the Years focus would be an issues based platform that would lead and convene around specific issues that go across the whole of the population. Historically - this was our 'Middle Years' Platform.

Areas of focus 

• 2006 - 2008: Drought and community wellbeing.
• 2004 and 2005: homelessness and housing and men's health.

Work auspiced and supported through this platform  

Mens Community Reference Group

This cross border group formed in 2004 however as at July 2007 this group is inactive and to be reconvened. In 2008 funding held by the PCP was reinvested into Men's Health initiatives.  See the full  details of this workgroup.     

Rural Counselling

This group/network was formed from a project looking at support and supervision for rural counsellors.  It continues to meet as a collegiate network and supports tertiary qualified Supervision courses in a partnership with La Trobe  University in Wodonga.
