Older People's Platform

This platform addresses issues across the older people's sector, and is lead by the Upper Hume HACC Best Practice Group. 

The HACC Best Practice group was formed more than seven years ago as a forum for Home and Community Care (HACC) providers and agencies to meet regularly and address issues and needs with a view to promoting Best Practice.

HACC Best Practice meetings provide a forum for feedback among all HACC funded operational staff from regional and state-wide forums, working parties, steering groups and committees, and a mechanism for Department of Human Services staff to update the sector about strategic and policy changes.

HACC Best Practice as the Lead Agency for the Older Persons Platform provides a link between the PCP and agencies serving older persons. 

Regular Meeting Information:

The HACC Best Practice group meets bi-monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 1pm to 3pm.
