Volunteering Way to Go

This project is funded for 2 years through Department for Victorian Communities to the total of $150,000.  The aim is to build a joint approach in the capacity of our organisations to support and engage volunteers. Lead organisation:Albury Wodonga Volunteer Resource Bureau, project officer Jemma Toohey .

Equity Project

Developing the capacity of the services to work with and recognise equity issues in the planning and delivery of services. Next workshop – April 29th.

Well For Life

$5000 extension of funds to support the work done in the $23,000 DHS funding, 1 year project –commenced August 2004.  Aim of the project is to model best practice in service coordination,  planning and health promotion in further developing the capacity of volunteer networks and planned activity group workers in physical activity for delivery into the social context of Planned Activity Groups and Residential Aged Care facilities in the catchment.UHPCP QIPPS record.

Outreach Fitness Project

Active Living Grant initial funding of $20,000 a year for 2 years (October 2004 to October 2006) extended for a further year into 2008. 
Aim to increase the provision of physical activity into our smaller communities and to work on strategies to sustain and link all our activities – strategies include training of volunteers, volunteer coordination, loan scheme for equipment. Focus: Lifeball and Polewalking.  UHPCP QIPPS record.
