The Upper Hume PCP received and distrubuted funding from 2 funding cycles
Guidelines for PCPs Tackling Mental Health 2006-2007  and Guidelines Sustaining Community Wellbeing in Drought 2007-2008

  • Service Coordination for referrals and access to services
  • Integrated approaches across our catchment
  • Local skill development - Mental Health First Aid courses and talks in each Shire

PCP members, including local governements undertook projects and innitiatives from an expression of interest process and have delivered these to support their local communities.

information sharing and support collaborative action in our area.

Evaluation reports of this work include    

Women Gathering In Dry Times Evaluation August 2008 One of the funded projects through Drought funding led by Women's Health Goulburn North East.
Over 20 women leaders were supported to gather women in their local communities, identify need and run sessions over a number of weeks to build local resiliency and leadership.

Friends for Life Program Evaluation January 2008  this initiative trained over 40 teachers and welfare workers in our area to deliver the Friends program into schools. The aim to build the mental health and resilience of young people in surviving the tough and stressful time of the drought
